Phyllis Ann Brown

Funeral Services for Phyllis Ann Brown, 78 of Ohatchee will be Wednesday 2 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Foote and Rev. Andy Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm till time of service.

Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

Ms. Brown passed away on June 10th, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loved ones.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Kerr and daughter Carrie Woodward (Jon); son-in-law, Jeff Brock; grandchildren, Jake Woodward (Breanna), Jimmy Bishop, Justin Matthews, Zach Kerr and Sierra Kerr; great grandchildren, Tyler Bishop, Parker Woodward, Maeleigh Matthews, Brooke Bishop, Jesse Bishop; one brother, Benny Kirk and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddy Brown; daughter, Deborah Brock; brother, Danny Kirk and parents; Imogene White and Franklin Kirk.

Phyllis was a long time resident of Piedmont, but has resided in Ohatchee for many years. She is retired from SCT Yarns Piedmont.

Pallbearers will be Jake Woodward, Zach Kerr, Chance Williams, Tommy Lovett, Tyler Bishop and Larry Fondren.

The family would like to thank April Hooper for her love, compassion and Caring Services to the end. We would also like to thank Amedisys Hospice Care.
