Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Sara Thomas; his daughter Debra Johnson (Anthony); and his son Jeff Thomas; his grandchildren Anthony (TJ) Johnson II (Shelby), Taylor Johnson, and Kelsey Johnson, his great-grandchildren Nolan Johnson and Ivy Johnson and a host of nieces and nephews.
Lilborn was preceded in death by his parents Jeff & Lettie Thomas; his brother Dillon Thomas; his sisters Marie Mott, Lessie Sterbens, Eula Holton, Shirley Hadley, Lois Touchstone, Joyce Cook and Pat Dixon.
Mr. Thomas has been a resident of Anniston since 1974. He was an active member of Hill Crest Baptist Church and the Inspiration Sunday School Class. He was a US Army Veteran where he served as a cook. He loved to play the guitar. He was an avid Florida Gators and Alabama Fan. Mr. Thomas loved his Grandkids and Great Grandkids. A Visitation for Mr. Thomas will be held at Hill Crest Baptist Church, Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and service at 2:00 PM, Burial will follow at Eulaton United Methodist Church.
Service will be officiated by Dr. Stephen Anthony and Rev. Milton Harris. Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Thomas, Terry Ford, Anthony Johnson, TJ Johnson, Milton Ford Jr., and Glenn Ford. Honorary Pallbearers are members of the Inspiration Sunday School Class.
