A visitation for John will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Highland Cemetery.
Preceding him in death is his father, Ralph Shoemaker; mother, June Shoemaker; sister, Carol Dobbs; and nephew, Tyler Shoemaker.
Survivors include his sister, Lori Knightly; brothers, Don (Tina) Shoemaker, and Steve Shoemaker; and multiple nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Knightly, Ian Knightly, Spencer Shoemaker, Landon Shoemaker, Josh Shoemaker and James Green.
