Duston David Wells

Duston was born May 5, 1975 in Burgaw, North Carolina. Duston moved to Alabama as a baby and graduated from Saks High School in 1993. Duston held various positions at Wal-Mart for 18 years before returning to Gregerson's/Cash Saver as an assistant Store Manager.

Duston lived a full life where he enjoyed Alabama football, fishing, camping, but most of all spending time with his family.

Duston was a member of Wellington Baptist Church since 1992.

Duston is preceded in death by his grandmother, Janey Mae Freeman; dad, Homer Johnston; and 2 grandchildren.

Duston is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer; children, Kadance (Kevin) Wells, Kreston (Neena) Wells, Makayla (Joseph) Carr, Daniel (Courtney) Martin, Joshua (Amanda) Martin, and Phillip (Jeaneen) Martin; mother, Ruth (Roy) Montgomery; siblings, Wanda Arthur, Belinda (Gary) Mangum, Ricky (Tawanna) Shiflett, and Randy (Jill) Shiflett; grandchildren, Alona, Cyrus, Jayden, Jasper, Caleb, Colton, Scarlett, Loralai, Carson, Aiden, Clarabeth, Mason, Allyanna, Timmy, Peyton, and Harper; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends and co-workers.

Duston was a loving husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, papa bear, and friend. Duston will be truly missed.

Visitation will be Friday February 17, 2023 from 12-2 with a celebration of life service at 2 with Bro. Glenn Gables officiating.
