Funeral service for Catherine “Woodward” Bryant, 81, of Oxford, will be 1 pm Friday, July 14, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Old Ohatchee Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Bryant passed away on Monday at RMC.
Survivors include five daughters, Deborah Saffold (Samuel Jr.), Barbara Yarbrough (Billy), Kathy Woodward, Carla Lovell, (James) and Cheryl Foshee (Raymond), son, Willis Douglas Woodward, 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, sister, Elaine Cappell and brother, Wayne Jinks.
Mrs. Bryant is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Dora Jinks, sister, Vivian Cooper, brothers, Roy Jinks and Gerald Jinks.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Mrs. Bryant was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a Baptist by faith. Mrs. Bryant was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who will be dearly missed. Mrs. Bryant was a big Alabama fan.
