Mrs. Ann Smith

Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Smith, 78, of Anniston, will be Monday, December 18th, 2023, 12:00 p.m., in the chapel of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Pastor Leroy Austin II officiating. Burial will follow at Eastaboga Baptist Cemetery. The family would like to welcome friends one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Smith passed away on December 14th, 2023.

She is survived by her children, Debra Ackley, Lisa Howard, Tonya Harper (Allan); grandchildren, Shawn Rinehart (Whitney). Chase Rinehart, Amber Finch (Justin), Christopher Howard (Casey), Michael Stebbins; great-grandchildren, Roxyn Rinehart, Brycen Rinehart, Rylan Rinehart, Braden Finch, Jaycey Finch, Aaliyah Howard, Shonda Stebbins, Destiny McGinnis, Andrea McGinnis, Emily Walker (Anthony), Landan Stebbins (Faith); great-great grandchild, Liam Walker, including several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband Gene Smith; parents, Woodrow and Myrtle Goad; granddaughter, Shaleigh Stebbins; son-in-law, Ronnie Howard; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Pallbearers will be the grandsons of Mrs. Smith.

Ann was known for her huge love for Jesus and doing God’s work. She served for the Calhoun County Jail ministry and was a chaplain for RMC. She was always one of the kindest people you would ever meet with such a giving heart. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

We will forever carry her memories in our hearts.
