Linda Parsons Parsons Ludvickson

Linda Parsons Ludvickson passed away on February 24, 2017 at the age of 72. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 27, 1944, the daughter of the late Robert Blair Parsons and the late Helen Catherine Haschker Parsons, Linda was a near lifelong Annapolis resident. After graduating Annapolis High School, Linda received her degree from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1967 and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She taught second, fourth, and fifth grade at Powder Mill Elementary in Beltsville, and Germantown Elementary and Mills-Parole Elementary in Annapolis for nearly thirty years. She was a long time member of St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and Annapolis Evangelical Lutheran Church where she enjoyed the fellowship of her fellow seniors at monthly luncheons. Linda married Chris Ludvickson in 1965. Their daughter, Karen Marie Ludvickson DiPierro, now lives in Durham, North Carolina with her husband Christopher DiPierro. Linda was an avid cat lover, and is also survived by her beloved Rudy and Katie. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 2 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, MD 21401. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 3 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 31 Rowe Blvd., Annapolis, MD 21401. Burial Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County or the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland.
