Betty Jane Benchoff

Betty Jane Benchoff was born December 15, 1929 in Annapolis, MD to Robert Leo Mayhew and Elsie Mayhew (Freeman).

Betty was a strong and determined woman. She will be greatly missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Dorothy McMaster and Mary Lou Turner, her brother, Robert Mayhew, Jr., her niece Cheryl Davis, and her husband, the love of her life, Wayne Benchoff. She was blessed with a wonderful marriage of 59 years.

Betty is survived by her sister, Olive June Rinehart, her nieces, Kim Cordish (Stuart), Kelly Ramsay (Bill), Katy McMaster, Cheryl Barnes, Terri Boldyga and her nephews Keith McMaster, Kevin McMaster, Robert Mayhew (Cindy), Michael Mayhew (Jennifer) and many great nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Betty will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 10 to 11 am at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, Maryland 21401. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
