Ann Marie was one of my very first clients, more than 20 years ago.  She was nice enough to give me a chance, and we had worked together ever since.  She introduced me to everyone she could, and was a raving advocate.  I guided her through many transitions in her life, and we often discussed her ultimate dreams and goals.  Ann Marie was a client, but was also a mentor.

I remember Ann Marie as incredibly smart and tough but also kind.  She loved life and was passionate about everything she did.  She genuinely cared about people, especially those she worked with.  She was not one of the "good ones", she was one of the "great ones".  She always put others ahead of herself, especially her family.  

I will miss Ann Marie dearly.  It just doesn't seem fair that she was taken from us.  May she rest in peace.

I took some "quiet" time today to  reflect on my wonderful memories and interactions with Ann Marie.    While working at the DSCC, we had occasions to share thoughts and work together.  I  always trusted her and she was wise, honest ,  good instinct, and wasn't afraid to make  decisions.   Moreover, I enjoyed being in her company.  

My warm wishes and sympathy to all of her family and friends.  She was a very good human being.

We loved loved loved Ann Marie and were so very fortunate to have her as an esteemed member of our WCSYale faculty. Brilliant, humble and fun,  Ann Marie was a stellar example of the right kind of individual in politics. She beamed with such integrity and loving kindness.  Our students were so very lucky to be taught by her.  WCSYale board, faculty and staff had such a joyful,  fabulous friend in her. We will love and miss her every day. We will be forever grateful for the boundless ways she shared her sensational self with all of us and the world.
