It is with great sadness we announce the death of Timothy L. Julet.
Tim embraced and celebrated the joy and art of life. A consummate urbanite, Tim and his family - wife Michelle and daughter Jasmine, 16 years old - enjoyed living in New York, San Francisco, Boston, and Philadelphia, ultimately returning to Ann Arbor to be close with family and friends for the last chapter in his life.
A lover of music, art, and people - his friends included those of all ages, backgrounds, and political viewpoints, all possessing curiosity, intellect, and a desire to have fun. A fully open individual, he loved drinking wine and enjoying different foods, all the while deep in authentic conversation.
Tim was raised in Detroit, attended the University of Michigan receiving a BA in Business and a MA in English Literature. He had a successful career in publishing, enjoying tennis and scrabble along the way
A longtime survivor of cancer and Parkinson’s Disease, he battled with his illness for over 20 years, ultimately losing his ability to communicate.
Michelle and Jasmine, and his family and dear friends will greatly miss him.
Donations can be made to your favorite charity or to Tim and Michelle's social impact nonprofit for kids - The Business of Doing Good.
