Thomas W. Evon, age 75, of Detroit, was born July 26, 1948 in Detroit, and passed away February 21, 2024 in Ypsilanti. Beloved husband of Luz for 42 years. Loving father of Bill (Kristine) Evon, Andrea (Josh) Smith, and Cynthia (Brian) Aldrich. Proud grandfather of Ezra Evon and Millie Smith. Dear brother of Suzanne (David) Nesbitt, Richard (Lani) Evon, Bobby (Leticia) Evon, Nancy Evon, and Ann (Tim) Hagberg. Thomas will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Thomas was preceded in passing by his parents, William and Jeanette Evon; and his sister, Jeanie Evon.
Tom will be remembered as the greatest of greats. He offered unconditional love to all and expressed his love through his passion for music and entertainment.
As the saying goes, “Goodbyes are not the end,” and Tom always believed that. We will meet him again. When that time comes, we will sing out loud and be entertained by his voice and guitar - the Tom Evon way.
