Nancy Therese Firestone

Nancy passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on May 29, 2024 with her husband, Marty Forchheimer and their daughter, Monica Firestone. She was a deeply loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. An Ann Arborite her whole life, Nancy was born to Phyllis and Ralph Firestone, and had one brother, Kim.

Nancy was an editor for Edwards Brothers in Ann Arbor before working at the University of Michigan Information Technology Division, where she wrote training materials and developed websites.

Nancy was an avid reader, and enjoyed music and travel. Favorite trips included to British Columbia and down the California coast, to Maine and the Eastern Canada, and to New Orleans and Memphis.

Nancy will always be loved and cherished by her family, including, but not limited to her husband Marty, daughter, Monica, son-in-law Jason, and two grandchildren, Edie (6) and Isaac (almost 3).

A funeral service for Nancy will be held Monday, June 3, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Temple Beth Emeth, 2309 Packard St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.

A graveside service will occur Monday, June 3, 2024 at 11:45 AM at Washtenong Memorial Park, 3771 Whitmore Lake Rd, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105. A time of luncheon and fellowship will follow.

Friends and family are invited to meet Monday June 3, 2024 - Wednesday, June 5th from 6:45 PM to 9:00 PM at The Home of Martin & Nancy Firestone, 2624 Prairie Street Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
