Eva Papp age 85 passed away September 29, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born in Budapest, Hungary on November 3, 1929 the daughter of Jozsef and Margit Domany. She married Imre Papp in Budapest on June 10 of 1950. Together they came to the United States on October 4, 1969, bringing with them their 3 daughters; first settling in Toledo, Ohio and then moving to Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1975. Sadly Imre passed away in 1981. Eva learned how to drive and earned her independence and continued to work as a Master Tailor retiring in 1993 and moved to Fremont, California to be near her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, needlepoint and playing solitaire on her iPhone. She also enjoyed cooking, reading, and sharing stories of her youth. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: daughters, Zsuzsana, Klara (John), Eva (Garry); grandchildren; Laszlo, Kelly, Ryan, Gabriella (Jeff), Alan, and Ashley, great grandchildren; Nicholas, Tori, Aurora, and Claire, brother; Lajos Domany and family, several nieces, nephews and many friends. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter; Eva in 1951, and her grandsons; Christopher and Julian. Memorial Donations may be offered to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
