Diane Hickman

Diane Hickman, 86 a resident of Ann Arbor for 64 years. Diane was born in Springport Township, Michigan to Levere and Bertha (Slayton) Lovette. She was adopted by Elbert Daisher and spent most of her youth in Milan, MI. She attended Adelphian Academy in Holly, Michigan. She met Eldon Hickman of Seward, Nebraska and they married on June 20, 1954, the same year they moved to Ann Arbor. Diane was employed by Edwards Brothers in Ann Arbor as was Eldon in 1955. They had three sons, Timothy Scott (Teresa), Jay Brian (Connie), and Perry Todd (Becky). Diane was a faithful Seventh Day Adventist Church member her whole life. Diane worked in the children’s day care field after her sons were grown. Diane is survived by her husband of 64 years, Eldon; her three sons; three grandchildren, Brandon, Emily and Chad; and sister Evelyn Knight of Romulus. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Thomas, Frank and Nancy.

A celebration of Mrs. Hickman’s life will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2018 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Friends may gather from 12:30 until 1:00 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church 2796 Packard Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan (734) 971-5919.
