Trudy Anne Little (née Nelling), age 79, of Ankeny, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Trudy was born June 22, 1943, to Harold and Rachel Nelling. She grew up in Winfield, Iowa. After graduation, she moved to the Des Moines area and attended the American Institution of Business (AIB), settling in Ankeny. It was there she spent 33 years working at the Des Moines Area Community College, retiring in 2005. She served on the HOA board in her community in Ankeny.
Trudy loved traveling with her sorority sisters, playing cards, spending time with family and friends, and laughing. She was an avid reader and she loved animals, including the many cats that she had over the years. She also loved butterflies!
She is survived by her sons, Steve Little and Kevin (Tracy) Little, and grandchild, Nicholas Little.
