Orville Eugene & Edith Dethora Cordell

Orville Eugene Cordell 78, of Pleasant Hope, Mo. passed away on September 10,2022. Memorial Service will be at 10 am Saturday at Village Park Church in Amarillo, Tx with Ronnie Nemoede officiating. He was born February 11,1944 in Pampa, Tx to Orville D. Cordell and Mona Luzelle Cordell. Married Edith Dethora Strother on March 12,1976, in San Bernardino,CA.They moved to Panhandle in 1982. He drove a truck all his life and retired from Walmart.

He is preceded in death by his brother Jonathan David Cordell, son Casey Dean Cordell and daughter Whitney Blake Hill.

Survivors include his wife, 4 sons Kelly ( Tanya) Pleasant Hope, MO, Carlos (Nadine) Bandera, TX, Gene Cordell Arlington, TX, Ronnie (Mavi) Strother San Bernardino,CA, and daughter Lisa ( Dale) Whitlock Pleasant Hope, MO. 3 brothers Hugh (Patsy) Cordell Amarillo, TX, Ivan (Ravina) Cordell and Tony (Deanna) Cordell Panhandle, TX 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.

Edith Dethora Cordell, 80 of Pleasant Hope, MO, died August 4, 2023. Memorial Service will be at 10 am Saturday at Village Park Church in Amarillo, Tx with Ronnie Nemoede officiating. She was born July 22, 1943 in San Bernardino, CA to Hershel Milbron Brownen and Stella Rebecca Brownen. She married Orville Eugene Cordell on March 12,1976 in San Bernardino, CA. They moved to Panhandle TX in 1982. She was a homemaker and later drove a truck with her husband Orville.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Orville, a son Casey Dean Cordell, daughter Whitney Blake Hill, and a brother Jewel Brownen.

Survivors include 4 sons Kelly (Tanya) Pleasant Hope, MO, Carlos (Nadine) Bandera, TX, Gene Cordell Arlington, TX, Ronnie (Mavi) Strother San Bernardino, CA, and daughter Lisa (Dale) Whitlock of Pleasant Hope, MO, and brother Wayne Brownen of San Bernardino, CA. Brother-in-laws and sister in laws Hugh (Patsy) Cordell Amarillo, TX, Ivan (Ravina) Cordell and Tony (Deanna) Cordell Panhandle, TX. 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews .

The family suggest memorials to Woodland Manor Springfield, Missouri.
