FUNERAL SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday July 12, 2013 at Trinity Fellowship Church West Auditorium with Pastor John Love officiating.
BURIAL: Private family interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell.
BIOGRAPHY: Montie was born April 12, 1933 in Hereford to Horace and Edith Frazier. He graduated from Amarillo High in 1952 and shortly thereafter joined the United States Army where he proudly served his country in Germany. He married the former Cecelia Mosley September 1, 1981 in Kemmerer, Wyoming. As a couple they enjoyed years of traveling in their R.V., hunting, fishing, and visiting friends and family across the U.S. Mr. Frazier retired from Asarco in June 1992 after 25 years. As a member of Trinity Fellowship Church, Montie served as a greeter and was involved in the Loaves and Fishes ministry. His family will miss his fervent mealtime prayers at the family gatherings. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed.
SURIVIORS: His wife Cecelia, 3 daughters, Chere’ Whitfield and husband Brian of Amarillo, Ealon McCartney and husband Kirby of Celina, and Kim Brown and husband Kevin of Amarillo; 2 nieces, Karen Adler and husband Steve of Seattle WA, Sue Otoniker and husband Tim of Winthrop, WA; 2 nephews, Mike Kenny and wife Christina of Spokane, WA and Tom Kenny and wife Katie of Colorado Springs, CO; and many other nieces and nephews who refer to Montie as “Papaw Montie”; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
PRECEDED: His parents, 2 sons, Dwight and Wayne Frazier and a sister, Frances Kenny.
