Wayne Underwood was born on December 4, 1949 in Snyder, Oklahoma to Robert and Carrie Underwood. He grew up in California, Oklahoma and Texas. He graduated from Dumas High School in 1968. Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He met his soulmate Lisa Cauthen and they married in 1980.
Wayne was a strong and protective man who was the glue that held his family together. He was an amazing cook and enjoyed taking care of others. He was an avid golfer. Wayne was a friend to all and would lend a hand to anyone in need. He will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Johnny Underwood.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Lisa; his daughters Karly McCutchan and husband Cody and Macie Orr and husband Mikal. His sisters Anita Simpson and Mary Van Leer. Four granddaughters who were the apple of his eye, Jade, Chloe, and Mikah McCutchan and Paige Orr. Along with many other loving family members and friends.
