He was born October 30, 1943 in Amarillo, Texas to John and Lupe Castillo.
Frank (Kico) was a kind, giving and caring man. He would help anyone in need. We are all blessed to have him in our lives for a few years. Frank was a very religious man, and such a great influence in our lives. He attended Amarillo schools, graduated attended Amarillo College and various other colleges to achieve his goal as a nurse. Frank was employed at Veterans Hospital before going into the armed-forces which he proudly served. He went to Vietnam and was called again to active duty in support of operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Frank was honorably retired from the Army on October 2003 as Sargent 1st Class. He retired from Veterans Hospital after 39 years.
Frank is survived by his brothers; John Castillo and wife Mary, and Tony Castillo, sister; Christina Castillo, and many cousins, nephews and nieces all whom loved him very much.
He is preceded in death by Aunt Virginia Leos, mother; Lupe Castillo, Father; John Castillo, one sister; Mary Fajardo.
Frank will be missed by both family and friends.
