Dora was born on June 26, 1929 to Cleve Reed and Pearl Stevens in Wheeler, Texas. She grew up in Texas and Oklahoma and attended high school in Wheeler, Texas. Dora married Wayne Bryan in 1947 and together they shared 57 years of marriage and had three children. Dora had a great love for cooking and she made the best homemade yeast rolls, vegetable soup, and pork chops. She was also a very proud Mema and loved her grandchildren greatly.
Dora was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne and her daughter, Brenda Marie Bryan.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Randle Bryan and wife, Lalana, of Amarillo; her daughter, Lavanda Burgess and husband, Clois, of Amarillo; her sister, Sherry Carpenter, of Yukon, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Stacy Kirton and husband, Wes, Stephanie Burgess, and Kyle Burgess; her great-grandson, Jamison Kirton, and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
