Bud was born January 9, 1918 in Quanah, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Minnie Taylor. Bud worked as an auto mechanic and enjoyed working on anything and everything. He was a jack of all trades as well as an inventor. His family was the most important thing to him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by: wife Fern Taylor; parents; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; two daughters Donnie Walker; Barbara Simpson; 1 great-granddaughter Karmi Villalobos; 1 grandson Roger Allen Moyers.
He is survived by his children; Charles “Mitch” Taylor and wife Shelia of Amarillo; Sharon “Sherrie” Lewis and husband Thomas of Amarillo; sister Vel Smith of Childress; 11 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; 8 great-great-great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
