Carolinne Lasley

Carolinne Elizabeth Lasley was born on March 1, 1943 in Sweetwater Texas to the parents, Henry Samuel Womack and Bettie Ruth Womack. She was oldest of 9 siblings. The family moved several times and Carolinne finally settled in Plainview, Texas where she attended nursing school. She met and married her first husband, Rogelio Rios Barajas in 1964 in Plainview. They later moved to Amarillo and raised their only son Jeffery. She worked at Tyson until retirement.

After the death of her first husband, she met and married her soul mate Jacob Lasley. They remained married until his death. The two things she valued over all else was her faith and her family. She believed strongly in morals and values and worked hard to instill those values in her son.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Samuel Womack and Bettie Ruth Steele and one sibling, Gordon Kelton Womack.

She is survived by One son, Jeffery Angel Barajas and his wife Christie Renee’ Barajas of Canyon,

Tx. Three Grandchildren, Wesley Stevens and his wife Stephanie of Dumas, Tx, Trinity Stevens of Canyon, Tx and Kathleen Stevens of Abernathy, Tx. Eight great grandchildren. Seven siblings Ben Womack and his wife Gwen of Amarillo.Wes Womack and his wife Barbara of Amarillo. Shannon Lee of Grandview, Mo Leonard Womack and his wife Frankie of Amarillo, Kelly Womack and his wife Darlene of Overton, Tx, Nora Tyler and her husband Larry of Amarillo, Tx, Rae Henderson an her husband Bruce of Salado, Tx

and 11 neices and nephews.
