Bobbye C Hessenthaler

Bobbye C. Clement Hessenthaler, 90, of Amarillo passed away August 26, 2022. Services will be held 2:00pm Monday, August 29, 2022 at Griggs Schooler Gordon, 5400 Bell, officiated by Lance Herrington. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home.

She was born June 20, 1932 in Bula, TX to Houston and Eula Clement. She was a great seamstress and was instrumental in helping start the Prayer Quilt Ministry at Paramount Baptist Church. She also enjoyed volunteering at The Hope Center and the Ronald McDonald House.

She is survived by two daughters, Danell Mauldin and husband Doug, of North Little Rock, AR, and Denise Hicks and husband Ronnie, of Amarillo; a son, John Hessenthaler, of Amarillo; four grandchildren, William Mauldin and wife Katie, of Little Rock, AR, Brett Hicks and wife Crystal, Trey Hicks and wife Brandie, both of Amarillo, and John Mauldin and wife April, of North Little Rock, AR; 10 great-grandchildren, Natalie Hicks, Linus, Owen, Jack and Parker Mauldin, Tripp and Ava Thompson, Brecken and Molli Lee and Hailey Simpson; and two sisters, Bea Nunn, of Waco, TX, and Betty Peterson, of Richmond, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Eula, her husband, Alfred and a brother, Cecil Clement and his wife Louise.
