Bob was born July 15, 1939 in Tahoka, Texas to Annie Violet Hedge Paris and Leslie Paris. He was a graduate of Tahoka High School and West Texas State University. Bob was a man of many talents. Throughout his life he was a mechanic, a science teacher at Bowie Junior High School and an owner and builder of commercial property. Bob was a very loving and generous man who gave freely of his time and talents. There was nothing he could not fix and he would drop everything to lend a helping hand. In 1998, Bob married Jaketta Paris, together, they loved to travel and truly enjoyed each other’s company. Bob found great joy in being a father and grandfather. He loved watching his grandchildren grow and celebrated each of their accomplishments.
Bob is survived by his wife; Jaketta Paris of Amarillo: sons, Kyle Paris and wife Mayla of Canyon, Tyson Cobb and wife Keri of Oklahoma City; Kyle’s mother, Vanda Paris of Amarillo; a grandson Colt Paris and wife Catie of Canyon; a grandson, Dr. Creed Paris and wife Lauren of Galveston; a grandson, Cutter Paris of Canyon; a grandson, Seth Cobb of Oklahoma City; a granddaughter Parker Cobb of Oklahoma City; two great-grandchildren, Abel & Haddon Paris of Galveston; and brothers, Leslie Paris of Tahoka, Don Paris of Lubbock and Tom Paris of Noble, Oklahoma; sister, Nelda Hill from Tahoka.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie & Leslie Paris; sisters, Billie Ruth Paris, Betty June Paris and Janice Ann Hill.

The family will receive guests from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
