Barbara Howard was born January 14, 1926 in Taft, California to Robert and Nona Garrett. She was raised outside of Jenks, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life Grady Howard together they had four children. Her family was very important to her. They owned and operated Howard Greenhouse’s in Amarillo for many years. She enjoyed needlepointing, reading and puzzles. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Dwight Howard and wife Sue; Marsha Pronger and husband Fred; Les Howard and wife Brenda and Danna Bowles. Grandchildren Emily Howard; Ted Howard; Patrick Pronger and wife Sarah; Janell Miller and husband Jason; Cary Howard and wife Kristen; Craig Howard and wife Sarah and Kristen Bowles along with 10 great grandchildren.
