Mr. Thomas Joseph McElroy Jr.

Mr. McElroy was born on February 12, 1934, in Staten Island, New York. Mr. McElroy was above all a family man always putting his family first in everything. He loved his wife Vivian, whom he affectionately called Dreamie. They enjoyed ballroom and square dancing together.

Mr. McElroy faithfully served his country in the United States Navy where he retired as a Chief Petty Officer. Concurrently he worked and retired from Southern Bell.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Vivian Frances Reidy McElroy; sons, Thomas McElroy, III, and Timothy McElroy, and his sister, Joan McElroy Rendell.

He is survived by his children, Vivian McElroy, Patricia McElroy, Terry McElroy Tierney (Paul), and Gwyn McElroy Wakil (Bassam); grandchildren, James Frye, Kelly Frye (Rushikesh Kamalapurkar), Samantha Wakil, Brandon Wakil, Dawn Tierney Greyson (Don), and Ryan Tierney; great-grandchild Tierney Greyson, and siblings, Jack McElroy (Betsy), Evelyn McElroy Gerzetic, Diane McElroy Gustafson (Ben), and Sr. Terese McElroy.
