He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on June 14, 1942 and graduated from Murray High School. He attended the University of Minnesota and was in the National Guard Reserves.
He was married to his loving wife, Judith E. Vasterling on February 2, 1979.
Terry had a career in Fleet car sales at 3M, Tupperware and was the owner of Nationwide Fleet Auto sales for many years.
He was an active member at Annunciation Catholic Church and mass was the highlight of his week. He and Judy went to a Marriage Encounter weekend and then joined an Image group and made wonderful lifelong friends.
Terry had a passion for golf and met many good friends. He loved the Minnesota Vikings and the Orlando Magic and enjoyed many years of traveling with Judy and dear friends in the U.S. and overseas. He loved riding his bike around our RedTail neighborhood and giving our granddogs a daily ride in the car. Terry always had a smile and loved spending time with his loving family and many dear friends. He was a generous and faithful man and did everything with gusto.
Terry was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Evelyn Vasterling, Daughter – Tricia Vasterling, Siblings – Bud Vasterling, Rae Mastel, David Vasterling, Gayle Watson, Dick Vasterling.
Terry was survived by wife: Judith Vasterling, Daughters: Michele Fouque (Kirt), Deanna Johnson, Tracy Goettl, Tara Woods (Troy), Joey MacDonald ( Ian). Grandchildren: Jordan Collins, Natalie Fouque, Benjamin Fouque, Nicholas Goettl, Madeline Goettl, Julia Goettl, Logan Woods, Emma Woods, Riley MacDonald, Gus MacDonald. Great-grandchildren: Faith Collins, Makayla Collins, Siblings: Paul Vasterling (Julie), Greg Vasterling (Beats). Also by many wonderful nieces and nephews and friends
Our family is so Grateful for the loving care Terry received at the PCU at Advent Health Altamonte Hospital. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather (Papa), and treasured our many friends. He will be missed by many, but will always remain in our hearts. Heaven has another angel.
