Lou was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico in 1930. He moved to St. Louis, MO, to study aviation at Parks College, where he met his wife, Mary Frances Carl. As a member of the Air Force, Lou and Fran traveled to many locales, growing their family along the way. Lou retired from the Air Force as a Lt. Colonel and moved his family to Central Florida, where he began a career at Martin Marietta. Throughout his life, he maintained a passion for family, his Faith, and aviation.
He was warm, caring, and had a quick sense of humor. His memories will be cherished by his loving wife of 65 years, their seven children and their spouses, as well as twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is reunited in the presence of Our Heavenly Father with his parents, his brothers and sisters, and his grandson, Ryan. Information about the service can be found at www.dignitymemorial.com. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Orlando Union Rescue Mission (www.ourm.org).
