Helen Margaret Fogarty

Helen Margaret Liptak Fogarty, 77, passed away July 12, 2022 at her home. She was born July 2, 1945 to Joseph S. Liptak and Helen Elizabeth Bellas Liptak in Brooklyn New York. She graduated from Catherine McAuley High School, part of Catholic Schools Diocese of Brooklyn, in 1962. She truly cherished being a wife and mother. She did her best to make a beautiful home and life.

Helen enjoyed fashion and shopping, golf and travel, snow activities, giving the perfect gift, and reading. She was agreeable and great company on an adventure. She enjoyed taking her children, her children’s friends, and then her grand children, to Disney World. She enjoyed creating a beautiful table setting for a delicious meal and a full holiday decoration experience, with Christmas and Easter as her favorites. She loved a cup of coffee and would sip on coffee all day long. She was patriotic and always cast her vote. She was shy and quiet. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and those who loved her.

She is survived by her children, Mary Elena Smith (Farin), Regina Ann Sheak (John), Michael William Fogarty (Amy), and her grandchildren Emma, Lilly, Farin Lee and Liam.

A graveside service will be held March 15, 2023 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Cemetery in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, at 11 o’clock. Lunch following.
