Hazel Luttrell Barfield, age 94, of Oviedo, Florida passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Hazel was born September 24, 1927 in Pineola, North Carolina to the late George Z. and Willie (Clark) Luttrell.
She retired from Disney after 20 years of service as a supervisor of import and export. Hazel was a great cook and all enjoyed her baked goods. She loved crocheting and playing cards.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Barfield; her sister Amelia Maes (Robert Maes); her brothers Don Luttrell (Joyce Luttrell) and Clark Luttrell (Joyce Luttrell).
Hazel is survived by her son Bill Barfield; and her daughter Jayne Kornick.
Hazel also leaves behind four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
A funeral service for Hazel will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 90 Weathersfield Avenue, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 2:15 PM at Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 East Semoran Boulevard, Apopka, Florida 32703.
