Frank Hancock Harrell Jr. , 77, of Altamonte Springs, FL. Passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday November 3, 2019, son of the late Frank H. Harrell Sr. and Julia G. Barnaskey. Frank was the husband of his loving wife, Mary Ann Uhrin Harrell. They were married on February 25, 1963. Frank is survived by his loving family; his wife of 56 years Mary Ann, his daughter Deborah Alaniz and her husband Mike Alaniz of Nashville, TN; his son Frank Harrell of Altamonte Springs. His sister Cheryl Herman, Las Vegas, NV and brother Edward Barnaskey, Seneca, SC. As well as his grandchildren; Steven Nault, Nathan Nault, Emily Chamberlin, Alexis Harrell, Benjamin Harrell, Madilyn Harrell and his only great grandchild, John M. Nault. Frank is proceeded in death by his brother, William Barnaskey, and sister, Linda Guyot. Frank retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 22 years of service. During his service he was also a member of the band The Latintones with their hit “Lies Lies.” He was the first NCO to graduate from the FBI Academy. He graduated from Troy State University. He was a commissioned Sheriff’s Deputy in Harrison County MS. , Frank also was Chief of Police in Lakeland, GA. Frank went on to work for Lockheed Martin as an Aerospace Engineer where he retired after 24 years. Frank enjoyed traveling and anything humorous. He loved his family, always making sure everyone was taken care of and would always brag of his fantastic family and his amazing wife. The viewing will be Friday November 8th at 12pm and service at 1pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 90 Weathersfield Ave. Altamonte Springs, FL. 32714. Burial after with Military Honors will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
