Deanna Maureen O'Brien, Dee, of Apopka, Florida, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at the age of 85. She was born on October 4, 1938, in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, West Indies, where she lived the first 22 years of her life before marrying and moving to Florida.
She worked with children during her entire career, retiring from the Seminole County Public School System.
She was actively involved in Church of the Holy Spirit, Apopka, for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents William and Olive Kong, husbands Niko Savovic and Richard O'Brien, four brothers and seven sisters.
She is survived by her children Donna Savovic and Niko Savovic, II, and her grandchildren Niko, III, and John Michael.
She will be remembered for her kindness and love of her family and friends.
A Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Church of the Holy Spirit, 601 S. Highland Avenue, Apopka, FL 32712. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m., with the service following at 10:30 a.m. Reception in the Parish Hall will follow.
