Brother Charles Joseph Jennings son of the late Isaac Jennings and Mary Jennings. Charles was born in Wilmington, North Carolina, on March 1, 1921. He was one of six children born to this union. They included: William Isaac Jennings, Jr., Monemia Jennings, Elizabeth Jennings, and one living, Eugene (Betty) Jennings. Brother Charles Jennings received his education in Wilmington, North Carolina and graduated from Wilmington High School. He then served in the military, two years in the Army, and two years in the Navy. After his service to his country, he migrated to New York, where he made his home. He then met the love of his life Eva Mae Galloway and the two married in 1957. He opened his own business, an electronic shop (Home Service). After running his business for several years he decided to retire in 1975 and move his family to Florida. All of the extra time retirement had granted him left him with idle hands, so he decided to go into real estate. He lived a joy filled life with his family until he was called home February 12, 2017. Charles Jennings leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Eva Jennings. Two daughters Patricia Jennings and Charlene Jennings; grandkids Toni Paramore, Simone Morrison, and Daunte Morrison. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. Sleep on Charlie, and take your much deserved rest! The Jennings family wishes to express their deepest appreciation and sincere thanks for all the acts of kindness shown to them in their time of sorrow. A precious one from us has gone, A voice we loved is stilled, A place is vacant in our hearts, That never can be filled. Your sleepless nights are now passed, We pray you found peace at last. Your family Love always.
