Reid Graham

Reid London Graham, 64, career-long Library of Congress staffer, Presbyterian church elder and Alexandria resident died at Georgetown University Hospital on Friday June 10 with his family by his side. He had cancer. Reid was a spirited community volunteer throughout his life in diverse programs of environmental conservation and public service including Eagles Wings and the WWII Veterans History Project. He was a graduate of George Mason University. Reid is deeply mourned by those who survive him: his sister, Bonnie Graham MacDougall of Ithaca, New York, his nieces Carlin Marie Graham MacDougall of Alexandria and Margaret Duncan MacDougall of Boston and Santa Monica, grand nieces Elizabeth Reid Mack and Julia Graham Mack and his companion Joan Coe of Alexandria. Survivors also include Jordi Mack, cousins and many close friends. A Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be held at the Heritage Presbyterian Church, 8305 Fort Hunt Road, Alexandria, Virginia, 22308 at 11 a.m. on Saturday June 25, 2011, the Reverend William Teng, officiating. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Heritage Presbyterian Church hand bell choir, the American Red Cross or to a charity of your choice
