Col Westphal was a great leader. He was my boss at Parris Island. He mentored me on what was important and how to lead and mentor young Marines. My condolences to his family for their loss.

I met Arnie through Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Whether cooking 75 meals for our bimonthly Men’s dinners or counting the Sunday collection receipts with his wife or just talking to him in his front yard, he always had a smile on his face and time to share what was going on in both of our lives. It was obvious that he loved his wife and family and spoke of them often. What a kind, generous and loving man. 
Rest in peace Marine.  

Thank you for sharing so much of your beautiful time with SCORE. Your leadership impacted so many in the community, other fellow volunteers and clients alike. It was an absolute pleasure learning from you. Your analytical mind, and selfless dedication of your time, will leave a lasting impact on your chapter and our whole organization.

I am so sorry to learn of Arnie's passing. I wish I was able to be there for the family. Arnie was the most special of people. He gave of himself all the time.  I met Arnie many years ago when I began at SCORE. He taught me so many things about business and life in general .. Sending my most deepest of sympathies to the entire family. 

I just learned the sad news of Arnie's passing today.  It is a devastating loss.  My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with the whole family and all who will feel his absence.  What an incredible gentleman and a joy to work with.  He will be missed by so many at SCORE and I am sure well beyond.  Peace to Arnie and those he leaves behind.



Arnie was a  great friend and advisor to me as a  SCORE mentor.  His great wit and encouragement in my early days as a business mentor and later on my return to the DC SCORE chapter was greatly appreciated.  He will be greatly missed.
