Caroline Pearson Currin, 76, a longtime resident of Alexandria, Virginia passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at home with family members. She was born in Warrenton, Va to the late Walter W. Pearson and Caroline K. Pearson. She was a graduate of Warrenton High School where she was twice selected to the All-State band for bass clarinet. She also attended Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va. She worked as a clerk for the United States Federal District Court and retired after 25 years of government service. She was a member of the Mount Vernon House and Garden Club and always enjoyed spending time in her garden and playing bridge with friends. The family will receive visitors from 2-4pm on January 28th, 2015 at Demaine Funeral Home in Alexandria, Virginia. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Roger A. Currin, two daughters, Patricia L. Ashenfelter (John) of San Diego, CA and Karen Sue Wolford of Alexandria, a brother, Bill Pearson (Kelley) of Reva, Va a sister Nancy Maronick (Tom) of Baltimore, MD, and two grandchildren, Kimberley and Nicole.
