William Dennis “Dugan” Ivy, Sr., 91, of Little Rock died Friday, November 20, 2015. He was born August 20, 1924, in Paris, Arkansas, to John and Myrtle Dove Ivy. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Lucille Lester; and brothers Martin, Bill, Sam, L.C., Bud, and Albert Ivy. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Ellen Williams Ivy of Little Rock; six children, Nancy Ivy of Hensley, William Ivy, Jr. of Little Rock, Joyce Cash of Little Rock, Michael Ivy of Little Rock, Karen Barnes (Lucky) of Benton, Tammy Hodkin (Patrick) of North Little Rock; a brother, Homer “Sonny” Ivy; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a retired employee of Munsey Products of Little Rock and also a retired house painter who loved to paint and took great pride in his work. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and Paw Paw. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 24th in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 7401 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, AR (501) 455-1067 with Bro. Randy Hester officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral Home.
