James Dixon

James Harold Dixon, 81, of Bryant, AR was born May 27, 1941 and died February 2, 2023. He was born in Cookeville, TN to Columbia Odell and Robbie Lee Dixon. James worked as a journeyman meatcutter and market manager for over 50 years.

He is survived by his wife, Judy of 51 years, his grandson, Clay Dixon of East St. Louis, MO and Kyle Dixon of Las Vegas, NV, his sisters, Ruth Mitchell of Rickman, TN, Pat Marks of Myrtle Beach, SC and many nieces and nephews whom he loved.

James was a devoted husband, father, and brother. He never met a stranger and was a friendly, loving, caring, giving, and compassionate person.

He enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, Arkansas Razorback football, spending time with his family and going to the casino.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Christopher Alan Dixon, his sister, Bettye Dixon Crutcher, his brother, Willie Dixon, and his infant sister, Alice May Dixon.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Graveside service will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, AR on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 3:00 pm.
