Coy John HUBBARD, Jr., of Benton, better known as PawPaw, departed this life on Monday, Feb. 3, 2020 at the age of 70 to be with the Lord our Savior. He was born June 30, 1949 in Little Rock, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Coy, Sr. and Hazel Oliver Hubbard of Little Rock and a brother, John Steven Hubbard.
He served our country in the Army, A Company, 2/501st Infantry, 101st Airborne, and was a Vietnam Veteran. He received numerous awards and metals including the Bronze Star for his bravery in serving our country.
He worked Commercial Construction as superintendent with Baldwin & Shell for 30 years. He was an avid Fisherman, Master Carpenter and the "Best PawPaw" in the world.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Margaret (Peggy) Hubbard, two brothers, David Hubbard (Rebecca), Greg Hubbard (Mary) and two sisters, Margaret Roberts (Danny) and Gwen Minor (Steve), three children Sheila Pendleton (John), Shane Martin (Susie) and Michael Martin, three grandchildren, Trevor Pendleton (Ashley Nivens), Mackenzie J. Martin and Nikki Pendleton, and one great-grandaughter, Alice Pendleton and 9 nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2020 from 6:00- 8:00pm at Pinecrest Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 1:00 pm also at Pinecrest Funeral Home followed by burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
