RIP to our wonderful friend and old neighbour from Maple Ridge. John and Mary were the best neighbours ever. My John thought so much of John W that he recommended him for a job at Oakalla. John was so proud to be a Corrections Officer. He remained a very dear friend along with his lovely Mary. At the last Oakalla annual Reunion, he was so proud of the fact that he was still driving and going dancing at the age of 87+. He is pictured here with that room brightening smile. He was laughing because I told him he really “Rocked that red jacket “. Now my dear friend, you’re able to shoot the breeze with my John and go dancing again with Mary. God’s speed 🙏🏻
