Wynelda Rae Leffew

Wynelda married the love of her life, David Leffew on July 19th, 1964 and he precedes her in death.

She was a member of the Bellevue Church of Christ and the Albion Church of Christ. She enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel, Elvis, and the “Queen of Country Music”, Loretta Lynn.

She made many friends over the years through working at Winnett’s Nursing Home, Consumer’s Dept. Store, Goodwill Store, owning the Little Country Cottage Craft Store, DC products in Devereaux, and finally retiring from Progressive Dynamics in Marshall.

Wynelda is survived by her daughter, Katrina (Michael) Kover; grandchildren, Nickolas (Brittany) Kover, Brandon (Melissa) Kover; 9 great-grandchildren, David Lee, Julian, James, Maverick, Carter, Azyln, Matthew, Aspen, and Finnegan; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Leffew (2005), son, David Lee (1965), parents, George F. Piper (1974) and Lila L. Clark (1992), sisters, Lavina Piper (2000) and Linda Sue Piper (1944), and half-sister, Maxine McNees (1992).

Services will be held on Friday, January 27th, 2023. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and the Funeral Service with begin at 1:00 pm, located at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion, MI 49224. Final Committal will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Albion, MI
