Virginia Sims

Health & Rehab of Albion. She was born in 1920 to Charles and Iva Peckham in Parma

Township, Michigan. In 1940 she married Wilford W. “Dib” Sims who preceded her in

death in 1992.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Albion, enjoyed helping others,

loved all children and was a wonderful housekeeper & cook, she loved tending to her flowers.

Virginia is survived by:

Daughter- Kay (Robert) Fennimore of Jackson

Sons- Randall (Beverly) Sims of Springport

Tim Sims of Jackson

(4) Grandchildren- Scott Fennimore of Virginia

Charles (Lisa) Sims of Pittsburg, PA

Amy (David) Rutherford of Louisville, KY

Ian Sims of New Jersey

(2) Great Grandchildren- Haley Sims

Hannah Sims

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Donald Peckham, sisters

Josephine Pennock and Mary Barbara Garrison.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, October 19, 2012 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at

J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service

will be Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home .

Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens.
