Sharon Kay Cooper age 61 of Albion passed away at home under the loving care of her family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. She was born December 29, 1957 in Albion the daughter of Ralph and Dorothy (Sebastian) Locke. She married Floyd Cooper and he survives.
Sharon worked for Springport middle/high schools in charge of attendance. Sharon was a very kind hearted, easygoing woman, but would always let you know where you stood with her, whether with words or “the look”. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and crafting with them. She also enjoyed gardening both flowers and veggies.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, son, Charles Floyd Cooper, brothers: David Ralph Locke, Gary Locke and Ralph Everett Locke, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Floyd, daughter, Stacy May Cooper, 4 grandchildren: Elleye Cooper, Charlie Kay Damron, Dashel Damron, Hadley Jo Sill and sister, Joanne Locke Baum.
Sharon’s wishes were to be cremated and her family will hold a service to celebrate her life at a later date. The family is being served by J. Kevin Tidd funeral Home, Albion.
