Rosario Alvarez

Rosie was born in Albion, MI on 9 December, 1967 to parents Jose and Mary Alvarez. She was a beloved mother, grandma, daughter, sister and aunt. She was a diehard fan of the Duke Blue Devils basketball team. Loved listening to 80’s music to include her favorite band Duran Duran. Rosie loved to watch murder mysteries, the royal family, and Game of Thrones. She loved cooking for family and gardening. Rosie loved taking care of and playing with her grandchildren. She was selfless, genuine, caring and always put her loved ones before herself.

Rosie is survived by Children: Alyssa (Lyss) Mathide Alvarez of Marshall, Trinity Jada (Jay) Wilson of Marshall, Taysia (Tay) Faye Wilson of Albion. Grandchildren: Sayler (Say) Saint-Skye Mastin, Ky’Mir Lebron McDonald. Parents: Mary Alvarez of Albion, MI. Siblings: Virginia (Alvarez) Gamble of Raleigh, NC, Jose (Jodi) Alvarez of Kalamazoo, MI, Patricia (Maurio) of Wyoming, MI, Loretta (Joel) Peterson of Stafford, VA. Nieces and Nephews: Karla, DJ, Amir, James, Joseph, Elizabeth, Rashad, Austin, Jose III, and Victoria. Great Niece and Nephew: Breylyn and Hendrix. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins, Best friends Rosie Sprately, Joan Eagon, Michelle Scroggins, and Tracy Lerma.

Preceded in death by her father Jose Marin Alvarez. Grandparents Manuel and Lidia Alvarez, Calixto and Matilda Suldivar. Nephew Benjamin Bouldi. Aunts, uncles, and cousins. Special friend Trent Lebron Wilson. Beloved pets Jett and Freckles.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49924. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM with Funeral Service following at NOON.
