Paul G. Robinette, age 82 of Albion, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 in Battle Creek under the loving care of Hospice. He was born in Harold, Kentucky on August 9, 1934 the son of Charles and Elizabeth (Blackburn) Robinette and they precede him in death.
Also preceding him in death are his daughter, Kristen Marie Robinette, 1 granddaughter in infancy, 3 brothers, Ralph, Donald and Charles Ray Robinette and Sister, Betty Lou Damer. He leaves to cherish his memory, 6 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, brother, Edsel (Joyce) Robinette, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and many friends including dear friend, Susan Smith-Miller.
Paul enjoyed the outdoors, mowing grass and tending to flowers and loved his cats. During his working years, he was employed at Jackson Die Casting, Corning Glass in Albion and was also employed at the Little Red Lunch Box for 12 years. Paul was a former Jehovah’s Witness and a former member of the Albion Moose Lodge.
According to Paul’s wishes, he will be cremated and a laid to rest with his daughter, Kristen in Riverside Cemetery. A Graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery, Albion with John Harden officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to J. Kevin Tidd funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion. In lieu of flowers, Paul requests donations to be made to the
Kingdom Hall – Jehovah’s Witnesses in Albion.
