Nancy Lee Blodgett, a resident of Albion, peacefully passed away on October 3 at the age of 89. She is survived by her loving husband, Ken, and their children: Mary Spencer, LeAnn (Ron) Hugeback, Dean Blodgett, and Dan (Kristine) Blodgett. Nancy was also a cherished grandmother to Heather (James) Yochum, Kyle (Lizzie) Hugeback, AJ Blodgett, Karissa Blodgett, and a beloved great-granddaughter, Gwen. Additionally, she leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Esther (Shifkey) Watson, as well as her brother Jack Watson, all of Albion.
Nancy graduated from Albion High School in 1953. She began her career at Gambles during her school years and later worked at Union Steel until her marriage to Ken in 1961. After dedicating herself to being a homemaker for several years, Nancy joined Albion College, where she remained employed until her well-deserved retirement.
