John A Slone

born in 1952 to John C. and Lona Slone in Pikesville, Kentucky. In 1971 he married Jeanette Jones

and she survives.

He had worked for Hayes-Albion for 40 years, then went to Allied Chucker & Engineering in

Jackson in the machine shop. John loved fishing, joking around and spending time

with his grandchildren.

John is survived by:

Wife- Jeanette Slone of Homer

Daughters- Angel Slone of Homer

Tammy (Scott) Hamilton of Homer

(4) Grandchildren

Sisters- Martilda (Phil) Thacker of Albion

Ruth May (Stanley) Price of Albion

Anna Hamilton of Albion

Velma Watkins of Albion

Brothers- Ernie Slone of Albion

Thomas (Laurie) Slone of Albion

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Zachary Slone.

According to his wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or

services. A Private Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery.
