He was born on January 8, 1937 in Akron, Ohio to William and Hazel Sandmann. Bob graduated from Copley High School. He served in the Air Force as a jet engine mechanic. Bob married Patricia Karl January 28, 1962 and had a daughter. He retired from Weaver Sheet Metal after working there for many years. Bob was the treasurer and president of Magic Cruisers Car Club. He loved going to Cruise-ins and car shows with his 1959 Ford Fairlane 500.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 3 siblings.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Michelle Sandmann, godchild and niece, Dawn (Frank) Miljak, brother, David (Mary) Sandmann, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may come to call on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 from 10-12 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 West Market Street, Akron. Services will follow at 12 p.m.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rose Hill Burial Park for final expenses.
