Lori was born March 16, 1964 in Akron Ohio. Lori graduated from Ohio State University and was a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority. After college she worked with her mother running Shatto Academy in Fairlawn Heights until they decided to close the school.
Lori was very ambitious and wanted to excel. She became a stockbroker with Prudential Securities and worked alongside with her father. Lori was the top woman stockbroker in the United States at Prudential. Later, Prudential was sold and she and her father moved to McDonald Investments.
After several years at McDonald Investments, she retired from being a Stockbroker and became Executive Vice President of Karg Corporation until her passing. Lori and her husband Michael traveled together for their business and pleasure to over 60 countries.
Lori was a member of Junior League of Akron and helped organize fund raising events to benefit the women’s shelters.
Lori was a current member of Portage Country Club and loved to play golf with the ladies.
Lori will by deeply missed by her beloved husband of 25 years, Michael and her two Toy Poodles Sammy and Teddy. Lori is also survived by her brother Douglas Kodish (Carol) of Maryland.
A private service will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park in Fairlawn, Ohio on Friday June 23, 2023 at 1 p.m..
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of the Elms and the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.
