Debbie was born on July 29, 1951, in Akron, Ohio, to Jack and Kathryn (Fowkes) Beroset. She graduated from Firestone High School in 1969 and married her high school sweetheart, Robert Beynon, on August 8, 1970. Debbie loved her job as Senior Administrative Assistant to the Controller at The University of Akron and reluctantly retired after 20 years. An avid crocheter and knitter, Debbie also loved reading romance novels and was a fan of Hallmark Christmas movies. Her “happy place” was Lake Hope State Park and spending time there with family who meant everything to her.
Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Debbie will be deeply missed by her daughters, Melissa and Kelly, and granddaughters, Cecilia and Eliza, as well as multiple nieces and nephews whom she doted on, many friends, and family members.
